The Post Graduate Diploma Programme in Communication (PGDPC) along with Masters in Mass Communication* (MMC).

DSC offers a 2 year Integrated Marketing Communications programme. Founded in 1995, DSC pioneered the concept of Marketing Communication on one hand and integration of work experience alongside academic study on the other. This is a 2 year broad band programme encompassing critical aspects of mass media, mass communication technology alongside business and competitive strategy perspective in marketing communication planning and implementation.

The course covers Advertising (all aspects), Public Relations, Media Planning and Buying, Digital Communication, Entertainment Management, Journalism and Events in great detail. The synergy of these fields adds far greater value and depth while opening many more job opportunities and faster career growth. The course opens more than 30 professional options for students to choose from, thus making it uniquely experimental and experiential. Candidature Requirements

For selection to DSC the candidate has to clear either our Internal Admission test or secure a certain percentage (kindly check with the institute) in any Indian Management Competitive exam such as MAT/CAT/ATMA.

Psychological Test

This is followed by a Psychological test. A ½ hr objective type paper, testing an individual’s emotional quotient, writing skills and overall creativity.

Note

Both the Psychological Test and the Written Test are now available online. Upon submission of the application form either online or via courier, a Unique ID will be provided by the institute (via email) along with a link to the Psychological Test and Written Test, in order to take the tests online.

Personality Interview

The Personality Interview is conducted after the Psychological Test and Admission Test. It is the main criteria for selection to DSC.

Eligibility Criteria

The common application is required for students applying to DSC’s flagship programme. Your candidature will only be considered if you’ve filled in the online/offline form. Incomplete forms will not be considered so please take time to fill yours carefully.

You can apply if you meet the following requirements:

  • Graduates or those graduating in any stream 2022 may apply for the DSC programme.
  • Work experience in communications is preferred though not mandatory.

NOTE: The 2-year PGDPC + MMC programme is a post-graduation program. We do not offer Undergraduate courses.
